bcu merger

When our client, bcu, was exploring an opportunity to merge with WA bank P&N, internal communications required a high level of precision. Cole Lawson assisted in crafting statements for delivery by C-suite executives intended to emphasise the benefits of the proposed merger (access to industry-leading technology) and reassure staff and members that their jobs and money were safe. Messaging stressed that there would be no forced redundancies, no store closures, no change to the brand, no relocation of bcu headquarters, and that whether or not the merger would go ahead was up to them. A member vote will be cast in mid-2019.
